In 2017 Green Meadows Rec and Park, participated in our LA2050 grant project to make LA the best place to PLAY by 2050. There were 45 kids signed up for summer camp that week, but only 18 children were granted permission to get on the Surf Bus and come out to the beach for our ocean eduction and surf lessons. We barely filled a 65 person bus. Six years later, July of 2023--our friends from Green Meadows filled TWO BUSES bringing 127 youth and their staff to our Santa Monica location. We are here to earn the trust of the communities we serve and the youth we endeavor to connect with the sea. We are committed to our partners. We're stoked for 2024!
