Surf Bussin' with Green Meadows Recreation Center

In 2017, a park partner, Green Meadows Rec and Park, was part of our LA2050 grant project. They had 45 kids signed up for summer camp that week, but only 18 children were granted permission to get on the Surf Bus and come out to the beach for our ocean eduction and surf lessons. Six years later, July of 2023--we needed TWO BUSES to host 127 youth and their staff at our Santa Monica location. We are here to earn the trust of the communities we serve and the youth we endeavor to connect with the sea. We are committed to our partners. We're stoked for 2024!
